About lanford brothers
A legacy of
innovation
After a lifetime of watching their father’s career as a contractor at his company, Lanford and Slater, brothers Jack and Stan Lanford sought to carry on the legacy with a new focus on bridge and box culvert construction. Founded in 1960, Lanford Brothers was and remains a testament to their father’s name and the family belief in quality work done with integrity. Today, Ken Lanford—representing the third generation—continues to uphold the company’s founding values.
Over the years, our expertise has evolved from building new structures to providing innovative repairs to existing structures—but our team of employee-owners remains dedicated to that same legacy. By combining our years of experience and our best-in-class workforce with the latest innovations and technologies, we honor our past while looking ahead to what’s next.

Integrity
Operating with honesty, and ensuring our employees feel heard and respected.
Quality
Using the best possible materials, methods, and workmanship.
Innovation
Championing the environment, our community, and our industry, as well as fully utilizing new advancements.
Building a Foundation for Success
From within our office walls to out in the field working on the bridges, our people share the drive and dedication to quality that the Lanford Brothers strived for when they began the company. While we all possess different skill sets, our values and work ethic remain steadfast.
Giving back
Driven by the standards of character laid down by our founders, we work as a company and as individuals to actively support a variety of civic and community causes.
